Ian Burnard was born in Adelaide and graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science. He was President of the Adelaide University Evangelical Union from 1955-1956. From 1957 to 1976 he worked for Inter Varsity Fellowship, in several roles including General Secretary from 1962-1976. He then worked in the education sector and as a consultant to the NSW Police.

Ernest Cameron was born in Erskineville and attended St Andrew's Cathedral School and Moore College. He was ordained in 1920. From 1930-1937 he was Rector of St Peter's Hornsby, then St Luke's Mosman from 1937-1963. He was appointed honorary Canon of St Andrew's Cathedral in 1949.

Donald Cameron was lecturer at Moore College until 1963, Rector of Bellevue Hill, Federal Secretary of CMS Australia until 1972, and Bishop of North Sydney from 1975-1990.
